Demonata: BEC

 Something that I notice in my independent reading book is that there is a lot of sacrifice. This idea happens throughout all the Demonata series. The main character always has to sacrifice somthing to gain something. Even though in a way it's kind of cruel I think it's an element that this type of book needs, since it's a horror type of genre book. If it didn't have that element the book woudn't be as good. Another thing is that it makes me wonder how would the book be if it didn't have sacrifice in it. It might have been a better book.
